Theme: Changes the color scheme of the planner.
Overlay: Highlights all grid squares affected by a specific proximity effect.
Snap Size: Changes the grid size for placing and moving buildings. Hold SHIFT for 32x32 or CTRL for 64x64 view.
Crafting Calculator: Select a target item and an amount to produce per hour. The calculator shows all raw materials and intermediate items required to meet your goal.
Estimate Buildings: After calculating requirements, click this button to see an estimate of how many buildings you'll need to achieve the required production rates.
Show Diagram: Click this to see a visual tree diagram of the entire crafting process for your target item.
Production Prediction: This panel simulates your current town layout to provide an estimate of your actual production per hour. Note that this is a sensible estimate and may not be 100% perfect due to complex in-game travel logic.
Build Diagnostics: Analyzes your build for common errors such as missing storage, invalid placements, disconnected buildings, or overloaded hauler pools.
See Simulation: Opens a minute-by-minute log of the production simulation, useful for debugging why a specific item isn't being produced (e.g., bottlenecks or starvation).
Click the Check button in the calculator to enter bottleneck mode. Here you can input your actual in-game production rates into the 'ACTUAL' boxes. The 'PERCENT' column will update to show you where your production is falling short.
The percentage fields will be highlighted to pinpoint the root cause of a bottleneck:
Favorites: To save a favorite, first click an item in the right-side palette. In the details panel that appears below, click one of the numbered buttons [1-9] to assign the item to that slot. Press a number key 1-9 to quickly select that favorite for placement.
Quick Tools: Buttons to Copy, Cut, and Paste selections. The All button selects your entire grid. Undo/Redo buttons allow you to revert changes.
History: The planner automatically keeps a list of your 10 most recently used items from the palette for quick access.
Paste Mode: Clicking "Paste" enters a mode where your clipboard content hovers over the grid. Click anywhere to place it. You can change the snap size while in this mode for precision.
Swap Layout (): Moves the Calculator to the bottom and Favorites to the top (or vice versa).
Collapse (): Hides the sidebar to give you a larger view of the grid. Press H to toggle.
Items Tab: A searchable catalog of all items in the game. Select an item to see its sell price, stars earned, which buildings produce it, and which recipes it is used in.
Effects Tab: Simulate global bonuses from NFTs. The active effects here will influence the Production Prediction and information shown in the grid and the Totals tab.
Totals Tab: View a summary of all buildings currently placed on the grid, including total build cost and wages per minute.
Build Manager Tab: Allows you to save your current grid layout to a file, load a saved file, and manage multi-stage builds. This tab includes buttons for Notes (save text notes with your build), Effects Set (save your global NFT configuration with your build), and Upload/Search Builds (share your creations with other users).
Wallet Addresses: In the Settings menu (), you can enter your GalaChain and/or Ethereum wallet addresses. After clicking "Load Wallets", the planner will scan for your owned Town Star NFTs.
Ownership Tags: Owned NFTs will be marked with a blue ETH tag or a numbered green tag indicating the quantity you own on GalaChain.
Quick Apply Button: When wallet data is loaded, a "Quick Apply" button will appear in the Effects Tab. Clicking this opens a modal showing all your owned effects. You can then click "Apply This Set" to automatically activate the highest rarity of each effect you own.
Grid View Size: Adjusts the overall size of the grid in the main view.
Text Size: Adjusts the base text size. 'Automatic' scales the UI with screen size.
Craft Time Colors: Colors placed buildings based on their craft speed relative to their environment (Green=fastest, Red=slowest).
Round to Even: When checked, passive supply values ending in .5 will round to the nearest even number, mimicking in-game mechanics.
All Squares: Removes rounded corners from most UI elements for a blocky, retro look.
Single Recipe Always Selected: If a building has only one recipe, it will be auto-selected when you pick that building from the palette.
Place from Center: When placing buildings, your cursor will mark the center of the building instead of the top-left corner.
Legacy Palette View: When enabled, this switches the palette to a 4-column view where item names are always visible. The default 6-column view hides names when the details panel is open.
Allow Multiple Filters: Allows you to select multiple building categories at once.
Flip Movement/Door Keys: Swaps the function of Arrow Keys and WASD.
Always Show Grid Numbers: When checked, the biome edges will always display grid coordinates instead of biome names.
Hide Door Indicators: Hides the orange border that shows a building's door position.
Automatic Production Prediction Updates: When unchecked, you must manually click the refresh button () to update the Production Prediction panel.
Click an item in the right-side palette to enter Placement Mode.

Biome Edges: Click on the named bars along the top, bottom, left, and right of the grid to cycle through edge biomes (Forest, Mountain, Ocean, etc.), which are required for certain buildings.
In the Details panel, you'll see colored tags representing time added to a craft. These penalties are key to the "Actual" production calculation.
Travel Time:+Xs Travel
This is the round-trip time a building's own worker spends traveling to gather ingredients (e.g., a Baker getting Flour from a Warehouse).
Idle Time:+Xs Idle
This is the time a building spends waiting for an external hauler to deliver a required ingredient (e.g., a Milk Barn waiting for a Lumberjack to deliver Wood). The building is non-productive during this time.
Pickup Time:+Xs Pickup
This is the penalty when a craft's finished product must be picked up by an external hauler. It represents the one-way travel time for the hauler to go from the item's storage location to the producer.
Penalty Logic: Travel Time and Idle Time are not cumulative; the simulation only applies the longest of the two penalties to the craft time. An active penalty is shown in purple , while a real but shorter (and therefore ignored) penalty is shown in gray .
